Growing up in a one stoplight town in Virginia, surrounded by mountains and vast landscapes, the outdoors have always been my home. Between being by the creek bed catching crawdads and spending all my free time in the open fields of wildflowers, those Blue Ridge mountains is where my life of adventure began.

Fun Facts About Me:

  • I have skydived twice! Easily the most alive I have ever felt. Even funner fact – my first time ever going up in a plane, I jumped out of it 🙂
  • I got attacked by a triggerfish while snorkeling in the Maldives
  • I am obsessed with vanilla iced chais and donuts

Every new city I get to explore becomes a part of me somehow, leaving a piece of my heart with each new journey taken. A piece of my heart lives in the fairy-tale like forests of Asheville, North Carolina. In the windy, snow cap mountains of Seattle, Washington. In the clearest blue water I’ve ever seen while snorkeling in the Maldives. Amongst the heat of the desert in Nevada. And my favorite part of me lives in the rocky peaks of Shenandoah National Park, where I said “I Do” to the man I spent all my life praying for.

Our Story

Bobby and I met working on the same intensive care unit as nurses. His first words to me were “I didn’t know you had a country accent..” and it just took off from there! In September of 2020 we on the fly decided to do a cross country roadtrip to see the Grand Canyon. To say it was a trip of a lifetime would be the biggest understatement. After 60 hours of travel, 4,863 miles and 14 state traveled through – I came back as a fiancé and the happiest woman alive. Bobby proposed to me overlooking Horseshoe Bend, Arizona at sunset and it was the second best day of my life (our actual wedding being the first of course).

We know what it’s like to not want to entertain 200 guests at the expense of what matters most to us, because we didn’t do it either! We said our personal vows over the most beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of Shenandoah National Park in front of our immediate family and closest friends. Our entire day was nothing short of perfect and everything we could have ever dreamed of. If you’re considering ditching the traditional, let’s chat right here!

Fast forward to December 2021, where we quit our stable jobs and took up travel nursing to see the states! We’re only a few months into this new adventure as I’m writing this but so far, it’s been one heck of a wild ride. There’s honestly nothing like doing life with your best friend. Seeing the world one piece at a time.

We also specialize in intimate weddings, you can check out a recent Virginia intimate wedding here.
