Adventure session on the Blue Ridge Parkway in Roanoke, Virginia

Where to even begin with this post? These two beautiful humans met me off the Blue Ridge Parkway to run around in the rolling hills and take a dip in the Roanoke River for their adventure session.

Engagement session in an open field on the Blue Ridge Parkway in Roanoke, Virginia.

I mean, how stinking cute are they?! Shaylee and Chad ran around with me for about 3 hours just laughing and having a blast. We started their adventure session at a random park on our way to Explore Park. We had the best time taking in all the mountain views that Roanoke has to offer!

The beauty of an adventure session is how carefree and laid back they are. If you’re into hiking and have always wanted those stunning mountaintop photos, then this session is perfect for you. Do you want to spend the day on the lake, boating and swimming, and have all of that captured? Let’s make it a date. When you inquire about an adventure session, you’ll fill out a questionnaire so that I can get to know you guys better. From there, I help you plan out the perfect day and we make a date of it!

Anyways, these two crushed this session in the mountains of Roanoke, Virginia. The Roanoke River was freezing but they still got in and made the most of it! Check out more of my work here.

I love adventure sessions because they allow the freedom for you to truly open up and be yourself. These sessions are all about what makes your relationship unique. Book your next adventure session here!

Shaylee and Chad held their intimate wedding on the property that Shaylee grew up in! If you’re considering having an intimate wedding in a meaningful location, stay tuned!
