This summer elopement brought the fog and rain, but it was no match to Julia and Levi’s overwhelming love for one another. They said their vows amongst their closest family and friends under the misty peaks of Shenandoah National Park, where the world felt quiet and infinite.
After their intimate ceremony, we ran around the park taking photos at the best overlooks and soaked up that newly married feeling. In the warmth of their cozy Airbnb, we met back up with all their loved ones to share a meal, stories and their first dance as a married couple. Profound love filled the space that evening and it was incredible to witness.

Julia and Levi got ready at the cutest Airbnb that has 5 bedrooms, located on 4 acres of beautifully wooded property. Bloomer Springs Retreat is the perfect place to celebrate with your family comfortably. The open concept and large windows allow for stunning natural light which is ideal for getting ready photos.
Julia and Levi got ready in separate rooms at Bloomer Springs without seeing each other. After Julia put on her flowy, boho elopement dress they opted for a private first look outside the cabin. I love when couple’s choose to do first looks, it is one of my favorite moments of the day!
Julia and Levi kept their ceremony intimate with only their closest friends and family attending. After a short hike to their destination, they held hands and exchanged their vows in the misty rain. The fog was heavy behind them which added a magical component to their ceremony.
After their intimate ceremony, we ran around the park exploring overlooks and being present in the moment. As the mist swirled around the mountaintops, it felt as though the world had slowed down, enveloping them in a dreamlike serenity. The stillness of the afternoon was broken only by their laughter and soft words. As they explored the overlooks, hand in hand, savoring the quiet joy of being newly married.
After getting a little muddy and embracing the rain, we went back to their Airbnb and shared a meal together. The love and joy that filled the space was overwhelmingly beautiful. I am so thankful to have been a small part of their intimate summer elopement in Shenandoah National Park.
