you deserve the utah elopement of your dreams.

  1. Sunrise is your best bet if you're wanting to avoid the crowds! Utah attracts many tourists year round to see the beauty it has to offer. The state parks hit a record in 2023 with 12 million visitors. Trust me, getting up a little earlier is worth the privacy on your elopement day.
  2. Make it legal and apply for your permit as early as possible. Does that sound overwhelming? Don't worry, I'll help you figure out the logistics. The best thing you can do is be flexible with your date.
  3. Once you have your date, book your lodging.  Especially if you're looking to get married in any of the national or state parks as lodging around these areas tend to book up faster. When you're booking your accommodations, try to keep an eye out for a place that allows for good natural lighting as this will make for the best getting ready photos.
  4. Book a planner or a professional photographer to help you figure out how to make the most of your elopement day. I know a great Utah elopement photographer that helps with your timeline and helps come up activity ideas ... wink, wink ;)
  5. Get your details together - Look at booking whatever other vendors you might need to fit the vibe you're going for. Florists, catering, cake, photographer, videographer, hair and makeup are a few you might need to consider. Other details to keep in mind to gather: custom vow books, wedding shoes or sneakers or hiking boots, jewelry, and anything sentimental you might want included.
  6. Elope! - You deserve the most epic Utah elopement and I want to help you plan every minute of it! From helping you find the perfect ceremony location, to picking out adventurous activities, to helping you find dreamy accommodations - I thrive with the kind of stuff so you don't have to.

Top tips for eloping in Utah:

"Kristen was so amazing to work with. Before we had solidified any plans with her, she made us feel so at ease and comfortable, we immediately connected with her. She’s such a down to earth person and I love that. She was so easy to talk to and communicate with while planning everything. Planning things stress me out and she made it all so easy. She helped with planning our trip and sent recommendations on where to take our photos. Kristen even bought florals then made my wedding bouquet on the side of the road - which was probably my favorite memory from the day, I talk about it all the time! She walked us through the process and kept directing us through our photos. I felt so comfortable and confident the entire time which was huge for me. And obviously, the photos are LITERALLY INSANE. My friends tell me they look like they came out of a magazine!"

"The experience was seamless..."

From start to finish, Kristen showed so much passion with her work. Sincerity to every text, emails and calls. We didn’t just had a photographer, we gained a friend! She is genuinely kind and made us feel so comfortable, she flawlessly took away all of our awkwardness being in front of the camera. And, we can’t stop looking at our gallery! It always brings us back to how special and perfect our elopement day was, all thanks to Kristen (and Bobby too!)"

"Thank Heavens we found her..."

Zion National Park
One of of my favorite places on this beautiful Earth. I have such an overwhelming amount of love for Zion, there's such vast beauty to explore. This is one of the most popular elopement destinations in Utah for a good reason.
I feel like this National Park is sat on and not many couples choose to elope here, but I think it's a great option. Known for its unique formations called hoodoos, there are so many epic locations here for your vows.
Calling all adventure and outdoor enthusiasts, this is the place for you. There are so many epic trails and camping areas.
Known for its natural arches, these rock creations make for the perfect backdrop when saying your vows.
You can also check out the Great Saltair right outside of Salt Lake City for a similar vibe if you don't want to make the drive this unique destination.
Snow capped mountains in the winter and overflowing wildflowers in the summer, this place can't be beat.
The desert meets waterfront and offers serene beauty for someone wanting the best of both worlds.
One of my favorite locations with stunning views of the Colorado River.
Rent an ATV or go sand surfing after your elopement!
Another National Park that I think is underrated and not thought of very often as compared to Zion for instance. This park extends for over 100 miles and has a ton of variety for photos.
Utah has such diverse landscapes that differ dramatically from the north to the south of the state. Here are some of the most beautiful locations to consider for your Utah elopement:
